A legal standoff between Rio Grande Valley landowners and the federal government over the construction of a border fence continues.
But landowners fighting the federal government got some good news over the weekend.
A new ruling issued Friday night states that the federal officials acted illegally when they condenmed land without first trying to negotiate a price with the landowners.
